The West Coast Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership (WESTCARB) is a research project involving more than 90 public agencies, universities, private companies, and nonprofits in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and the province of British Columbia with the objective of characterizing the best regional opportunities for keeping CO2 out of the atmosphere to reduce humankind's impact on the climate.
